With the development trend of rail transit manufacturing industry, the maintenance quality and efficiency of rail transit vehicles and other mechanical equipment are required to be higher and higher. Due to the characteristics of industrial endoscope nondestructive testing technology, it has become an important testing tool in the industrial field. Industrial endoscope
can be used in visual inspection of special environment, such as containers, pipes, the interior of equipment that is difficult to disassemble, the inner surface with narrow gap, or the area that cannot be directly observed by human vision. It is applied to the development, manufacture, maintenance, inspection and quality control of rail transit vehicles, mainly in the following four aspects.
1、 Check the shock spring. The inspection requirements for the shock absorber spring are mentioned in the track section repair regulations and factory repair regulations. The specific requirements are to inspect the crack, wear and other conditions, and then weld according to the inspection regulations. The conventional inspection method often requires the spring to be disassembled, and the industrial endoscope is used to complete this work. Just send the probe of the endoscope to the spring to be inspected, you can see the internal cracks of the spring and the situation of the top of the spring, which avoids the workload and economic cost caused by the disassembly.
2、 Carbon deposit detection of internal combustion engine. The industrial endoscope can also be used for carbon deposition detection of diesel locomotive. If there is carbon deposit on the exhaust valve of engine, the effective power of internal combustion engine will be reduced, resulting in fuel consumption. In order to avoid the tedious operation of traditional disassembly of diesel engine, the industrial endoscopy can be carried out by inserting the endoscope into the cylinder. The whole operation process is simple and convenient.
3、 Hollow shaft inspection. When the hollow shaft is found to have suspicious corrosion, corrosion, wear and other damage, during the operation of the electrified high-speed train, the industrial endoscope can be used for further careful inspection of the hollow shaft, so as to use the magnifying effect of the endoscope to find tiny cracks. Similarly, the inspectors can also use the image processing system in the industrial endoscope to capture the detection video and record the specific situation of the hollow shaft, so as to re check the defects through the computer in the later stage and ensure more accurate detection results.
4、 Transmission inspection. In the normal use and operation cycle of locomotive, problems such as gear wear and bad bite are common. If they can not be found and properly handled as soon as possible, the gearbox will even be scrapped or derailed. The inspection of gear box can be easily completed by using industrial endoscope. In the specific operation, just insert the bendable guide rail of endoscope into the pipe and enter the gear box through the oil quantity observation port in the gear box. The gear condition in the gear box can be displayed directly, and whether there are foreign matters at the bottom of the gear box can be displayed, At the same time, the image recording function of the industrial endoscope can also be used to take photos of the gearbox for archiving, so as to further find problems, or for reference in the future.
